AirTran Rewards and AirTran Visa

I just started looking at my AirTran Visa again as a way to pick up some quick one way airfare on AirTran. The card gives you credits that automatically exchange for AirTran Rewards points every time you get 1,000 credits. You earn credits by charging on the card in the following manner....

1 Point for every $2.00 (Purchases)
1 Point for every $1.00 (Partner Purchases)

Partner purchases are AirTran tickets of course, but I'm more interested in the regular purchase benefit.

I can pay most of my bills on the card now and then take my income to pay off the card every month. That means that if I put $4,000 of purchases on my AirTran Visa every month, I will get 2000 credits on the card each month that will automatically convert to 2 AirTran Rewards points. That means a free one way every 4 months and it also puts me that much closer to elite status.
